Classes and Registration Information
Whether you are having your first child or a new addition to your family, Corona Regional Medical Center offers support and classes for you and your family. You can find a complete list of classes and schedules below. Additionally, mom and baby are able to schedule free breastfeeding follow-up care from the Baby Connection Clinic at Corona Regional Medical Center.
Baby Connection Center Clinic
Our international board-certified lactation consultants are available to assist you in optimal infant feeding. Moms and babies who deliver at Corona Regional Medical Center will be offered free outpatient appointments at the Baby Connection Center for support, weight checks or help with feedings.
The center is open Monday – Friday by appointment and referral.

Best Fed Babies Class
This class is designed to provide expectant mothers with the most current information to make informed choices regarding infant feeding.
Time: Class is offered the fourth Wednesday of each month (except November) at 6 p.m.

Maternity Tour
The birth of your baby is a momentous occasion! We understand that a welcoming and comforting atmosphere is essential. At Corona Regional Medical Center, we take pride in our maternity unit and the care that we provide. A member of our hospital staff will give you a tour of the maternity unit and provide you with information to make sure your stay is a pleasant one.
Please Note: All tours are held online. You will receive login information once you register for the event.
Time: Tours are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m.

Sibling Tour
This class is designed to prepare big brothers and big sisters for the arrival of a new baby into the family. Children must be between the ages of 4 and 12 years old.

Prepared Childbirth Class Boot Camp
This one-day class from Corona Regional Medical Center offers you instructions on the birth process and provides you with information that will enable you to be ready for this life-changing event. We will discuss signs and symptoms of labor, when to go to the hospital, as well as different methods and techniques for preparing for labor. We will also discuss what happens after you have the baby and how to care for your newborn. Our goal is for you to be informed and ready to have a positive birth experience at Corona Regional Medical Center.
Time: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Instructions: Bring two pillows and dress comfortably. Snacks and water will be provided. However, if you have special dietary requirements, please bring food or snacks appropriate for your needs.

Baby Basics Class
This one-time class helps new parents develop the special skills and confidence necessary to care for a newborn. The educator will cover common newborn characteristics, hospital procedures, car seat safety, diapering, bathing and baby calming techniques. A question and answer portion of the class will give parents the opportunity to address any concerns regarding newborn care.
Time: Classes are held on Wednesdays at 6 p.m.

Cesarean Section Preparation Class
This class offers education and instruction on the Cesarean birth process and provides you with information that will enable you to be confident and prepared for a planned or unplanned operative delivery. We will discuss what to expect, educate you about performing skin-to-skin in the operating room, and time will be allotted for a tour of the labor suites and postpartum rooms.

Breastfeeding Support Group
This mother-to-mother support group is led by a lactation consultant. Come make new friends while sharing the joys and challenges of breastfeeding. Siblings of infants are welcome. Please bring toys.
Date: Every Wednesday from 1 - 3 p.m.
Healthy Pregnancy Class
A healthy pregnancy equals a healthy baby. This class is designed to provide important information at the beginning of your pregnancy and is recommended to be taken prior to 28 weeks gestation.
