Corona Regional Medical Center Announces New Chief Executive Officer
Corona Regional Medical Center announced today the promotion of Alistair Machoka, MBA/MHA, to Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Alistair has over 20 years of progressive healthcare experience, including eight years at hospitals operated by parent company Universal Health Services, Inc.
Most recently, Alistair served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley and Rancho Springs Hospitals since 2021. Prior to that, he served as COO at Corona Regional Medical Center since 2018. He had served as Associate Administrator of Inland Valley and Rancho Springs Hospitals in 2016.
Alistair earned his Master of Healthcare Administration and Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in Texas, and his Bachelor of Science – Registered Respiratory Therapist degree from Texas Southern University.
With his extensive background and proven leadership in healthcare, Alistair is poised to guide Corona Regional Medical Center into a new era of growth and innovation.
